Pvc adhesive wallpaper, suggestions?
Any input on using premium pearlized self adhesive wallpaper. Waterproof vinyl. Looking to put it on my kitchen cabinets.

Hi! I've seen it used. Just protect the edges from moisture and it isn't resistant to heat. Good luck!
Due to the slippery surface, it will not be easy to cut the individual pieces to fit the exact dimensions of your cabinets so that the edges do not catch, or look ragged. As we all know, the world is not always straight and level.
If your heart is set on using this, I would suggest to start with buying the smallest amount, and trying it out on one door first.
Hello Trs,. I wouldn't put vinyl adhesive on the cabinets. When it starts to peel, you'll have a problem. This adhesive is not easy to get off. At some point, you'll want to change the color, then what will you do. Find a nice high gloss paint, which you can wash with just a wet damp rag or sponge. Aloha!
Trs. Try sanding the cabinets. It's a mess, but it will be better in the end. You can rent a sander from Home Depot for a reasonable amount. A small deposit is required. Aloha!
Yes, it would be better to degrease the cabinets, sand, prime and paint. It will keep its look a lot longer. Good luck on whatever you decide.
