I'm looking for natural solutions to get grease off of cherry wood kitchen cabinets.

You'll have to use wax stripper.
Try using mineral spirits. Use a clean white cloth and change often so you don’t end up transferring the the color to other parts of the table, or force the color further into the surface of the wood. This should remove a majority of the wax, but you will likely be left with color that penetrated the wood. You can try sanding the surface with a fine grain sand paper to bring back the original color of the wood.
