First I would open some windows and get some fans running to circulate the air. You could also get a dehumidifier to help remove moisture. Check the wall for moisture, you may have to do some regrading outside to keep water away from your foundation.
A dehumidifier is definitely your best bet and I also use

There are products designed to absorb the extra humidity in the basement. They look like white crystals. There are also charcoal products that absorb water. Check to make sure there is no mold and if there is - treat it with beach.
Is this something new or has it always been that way? A dehumidifier will be a huge help. Connect the drain to a condensate pump and then connect clear plastic tubing from the pump to the closest drain, like a washing machine drain. That way you will never have to empty it. I would also buy a separate hygrometer ( measures humidity level) from Amazon as the one on the dehumidifier is not very accurate. The other concern is why is your basement so humid? Do you have water infiltration some where? You also did not mention if this is a finished basement, which complicates matters if you have mold developing behind drywall.
