Bring them into your garage and clean them up. Cut off dead leaves. Trim them up if they're overgrown. After you have cleaned them up, mix half water and half mineral oil in a spray bottle. You may want to take them out on the lawn to spray them because the mineral oil will leave a spot on your garage floor. Spray the plants all over. Even the underside of the leaves. Put back in the garage and wait for the plants to dry. Then take them back in your house and put them in the sunniest window you have for the winter. Next summer, take them back outside so they can enjoy the heat and sunlight.
