Hi Pto. My name is Cindy. There is a paint made especially for plastic. It is normally used to paint plastic outdoor furniture. I bet it would work on your nativity set too. Tape off anything you don't want paint on. Hope this helps. Good luck and Merry Christmas.

I have an outdoor plastic life size nativity scene that's also faded. Probably going to rub alcohol on it and wait a day. Next probably going to spray a sealer coat on first in hopes that I can apply some acrylic paint with no problem. Last I'm going to spray on another round of sealer coating. I will try a small area so if it doesn't work I don't waste much time. Here goes nothing, lol
I'm trying to restore a very old manger scene but....I just can't find Any paint that will coat the figurine on plastic , Poor Mary she had 2 holes in her head and nose was broke , we used plastic water gallon jug cut it then melted it to form the holes now she NEEDS paint because the repair is obvious especially when lit poor Mary when we paint her face it just looks worse ,I am disappointed really wanted to keep the old manger scene around , I guess the old manger scenes have seen a lot of CHRISTMASES and I like the way that feels .I just can not figure what paint to use any advice?
