Our St. Vincent de Paul stores welcome books of all kinds for resale! Your local library might have an annual sale of donated books or one of the branches or small town libraries in your area might appreciate the donation.
Here are a few creative ideas. More on http://dishfunctionaldesigns.blogspot.com/2011/12/artfrom-pages-of-book.html
This is a good place to start, too.
I have used them to prop up my bed and have them under my microwave.
I like to keep my favorite hardbacks and also use them to decorate. I've posted two techniques to make them over to look like vintage books and accent my decor. The first pic is a stack of books I added hot glue "bindings" then mod podged with printed papers then dry brushed with black paint. The red books are crackle painted with Elmer's glue and craft paint. Here are the two blog links.
I used them to decorate this living room! https://thehoneycombhome.com/one-room-challenge-the-reveal/
