Recycle/upcycle plastic Gatorade bottles (32 oz. size)

Question

I have quite a few plastic Gatorade/PowerAide bottles that I would like to recycle/upcycle. They are the 32 oz. size. I hate to throw them away....the main problem I see is that the neck/opening/bottle cap is kind of small, so I can't figure out anything CUTE to do with them (other than just washing out and putting something else in the clean bottle). I'm sure I can think of something else to put in the clean bottle, but I would like something a little more creative, and I want the outside of the bottles to be CUTE...maybe Modpodge on some scrapbook paper or something.... ANY IDEAS?

I upcycle water bottles by removing the label , painting the bottle , cutting AROUND the bottle and use UPINS to attach to a wreath

I use mine with children. I make 'I Spy' bottles with rice and little toys. Kids of all ages love them!

Have you thought 'outside' the bottle? You could make some darling, original bird feeders, or bird houses. A few cuts and/or holes here or there, add some rope, chain, twine, maybe even a pretty decorated melamine plate or two from a thrift store....with a little imagination, the sky's the limit! ;)

We painted the bottles attached the caps to a bike rim and made a spinner. A unique piece in the garden.

I use mine to start flowers, cut them in half and poke holes in the bottom for drainage, line the bottom with thin foam padding to prevent dirt loss. Add dirt and seeds. Keep on a tray to keep the bottoms wet.
