Please further explain. Are you saying you vented your dryer into your garage and it is somehow affecting your freezer?
Where are you located?
Why isn't the dryer vented to the outside, if that is your situation.
Freezers and refrigerators generally operate better in a basement rather than in a garage.
whom ever bulit me home vented, the dryer is vented in the garage.....which the problem lies. Everything is moist even the lint from the dryer
Your dryer is in the house and vents to the garage? Just extend the vent (you can purchase more of that at a home improvement store) up and over to the closest to outside wall. You can hang the tubing from the garage rafters with zip ties (see pic) they have larger ones that will fit around your tube and rafter. Once you get to wall, secure, and drill or cut out a hole wide enough for the tube to go through to outside. Secure. Attach your new vent to outside wall, then attach tubing. You can see how to do here: Remember you can only go about 25' with the tubing to be efficient.
Yeah, wow. Not legal where I live. You just need to vent to the outside of your home, not into the garage.
I am in CA where 99% of the houses have no basement. My washer and dyer are in the garage and vented to the exterior of the house.
Call a contractor, unless you want to diy yourself. Look up local building code for your area.
what type of contractor
You need a handy man type of contractor. There is no electrical involved in this. It either needs to be re-routed or extended to the exterior. Check with the local big box stores for a referral.
