Dollar store, 99c store, have wreath bases and faux flowers and fruit, leaves.just start arranging in a pleasing way, wrap the stems to the frame to keep them on. Another way, just gather the flowers, and leaves into a bouquet, wrap in fall wide wire edged ribbon, or burlap ribbon, tie, make a large bow add twine or wire to hang.

Lorraine has the right idea! I always start at the dollar store and work my way up. I use "T" pins to fasten the embellishments so I can take apart and use again for another theme, season or holiday.
Hello Sandra. My name is Cindy. I was watching the Home and Garden channel this afternoon. They showed how to make a wreath using sticks and vines. Start by making a round form as best as you can. Use wire to hold in place. Then use more sticks and wire to weave above and below the form you made. Continue this until you get it nice and full. Then you can use wire ribbon on the stick circle. After that comes a bow, flowers, pine cones, and picks from the $ store. Use your imagination and have fun. I'm going to try this DIY. If you're like me, it may take a couple "do overs" to get it right. It looked so nice on TV. Wishing you well, from Cindy. p.s. You can soak the sticks to make them easier to use.
I just bought a grapevine wreath at the dollar store (1$1). I wrapped it in a fall leaf garland ($1) then added a swag that has straw, leaves and pumpkins ($1) on an angle at the bottom right.
Total cost $3.
Yay, have fun!
