Hi Rosie, that poor baby must have been so scared bless his heart. Well you will probably need to buy window trim and small brad nails to put it on with. You might just be able to use wood putty on some of it. Here is a video on how to replace the trim.

Poor puppy. Thik how scare he must have been to do that much damage.
Clean all loose pieces of wood. Use Durham's Water Putty. It's the best for wood. Won't shrink. Build up the wood, sand flat and paint. Not sure what the black thing is coming off the window. Is it a rubber gasket?
Get a crate for your pup, put a blanket over crate and play soothing music while the fireworks are going on in the neighborhood.
Thankyou everybody. We have managed to fix the window something like.. we got some wood pieces from wickes and some adhesive and filler etc. I know he is petrified, we have two dogs and the other one is absolutely fine! I did exactly that last night he finds comfort sat under the desk in our spare room and I played some 'dog music'for him on youtube! Cant wait for the fireworks to be over. Thankyou all for your replies
I had a border collie that panicked at New & July 4th, we always put her in the bathroom with an army blanket over the window to block out light, played very loud music for her and also put towels under the door to help with sound and light. Then we should cover her with her favorite blanket. Sometimes when it was real bad we would take her for a ride in the country, she also liked that.
agree with all answers. just so glad you did not blame and punish her .
I have been a "foster mom" for close to 25 dogs over the past few years so I feel your pain!
I would suggest 2 products that you can apply to the damaged areas, sand and paint. Durham's Rock Hard Water Putty or Bondo All-Purpose Putty. I have used both for such projects!
Good luck! Rebecca
