It depends on the recipient, but edible gifts always go over well and are clutter-free! Nobody needs more junk.
Hi Fave, here's a few ideas. https://www.thesprucecrafts.com/homemade-gift-ideas-1251561 “
Well, Faye, the answer actually lies in the person(s) you are gifting. What do they need? What to they like? Do you want to make something useful - or something original that will remind them of you. The first thing that comes to mind as a need is homemade soap. There are tons of recipes out there and you can get everything fairly inexpensively. What they like - well, that one really can't be answered in this venue. Something original? I'd try some form of painting - that covers the gamut from coasters to canvas and you absolutely do NOT need to be an artist. Just pick colors you like, drip them over the surface (make sure you have the table covered!) and smudge the colors around to mix. For coasters, give them a coat of Mod Podge to seal them - and don't forget to sign and date! Happy crafting!
We go for edible gifts too. Truffles, fudge and preserves always go down well as does anything involving alcohol (we make things like sloe gin)
Faye, Use mason jars and layer cookie or brownie dry ingredients then attach the directions and wet ingredients with oven degree and time. Also another is use a mason jar for a find game. Add paper clip, tack, bell, toothpick, safety pin, straight pin, piece of macaroni, etc....fill with bird seed and attach a list of the items they need to look for. You can add much more..it's really a lot of fun for everyone. I still have mine in the bathroom...it seems lots enjoy it there!
