I use my glass jars for holding everything that needs to be stored in a container, buttons, picture hangers, smaller amounts of pasta, rice, etc. that doesn't fit into my bigger containers until I use some of it. I also store things like baking soda, cornstarch, etc. so that it stays fresher than in the box. I put chocolate chips and nuts in them once I open the package. The glass containers seem to keep things fresher than plastic for most things and they don't clump up like in the original container.
office storage(paper clips, pens, markers);workshop storage (bolts, nuts, screws etc.);kitchen( dry goods, tea storage, fresh grated parmesan cheese, freeze coconut, almonds, flax /chia seeds, quinoa, store people snacks & pet treats etc.);craft rooms(sewing stuff, buttons, bobbins, poke hole in metal lids for thread or string storage etc.);bathroom(cotton balls, hair ties, makeup brushes, toothbrush holder,DIY liquid soap dispenser, manicure items, etc.);kids room( crayons, lrg plastic pretzel jars-small legos, art supplies etc.)storeage for votive candles or tea lights, batteries, extra xmas bulbs or put lights in them and just use them as lanterns;garden(seed storage, seed shakers for planting, garden markers, hanging plant hardware etc,) I use them for gardening gifts filling them with multiple varieties of flower seeds bagged separately along with markers and directions to start gardens , or pet presents to friends & their animals (example)cats get home grown dried catnip & catnip toys made from recycled kids socks. The list & ideas are endless, &it keeps me from buying using so much plastic for storage,I think it keeps items fresh longer. Whew sorry I got kinda long winded !
