Mason Jar Scarecrow. Visit. Discover ideas about Fall Mason Jars .... Could make out of light switch plates with masking tape as the "fabric skin" painted, add straw. .... Some raffia for hair, homespun fabric and a wooden star add to his charm.Hi Lisa. My name is Cindy. I love scarecrow mason jars. For the hair, you could use pipe cleaners, yarn, raffia, fabric (used as is, or braided) or corn stalks. This sounds like a great project. I think I'm gonna make one too. Good luck from Cindy.
Straw rather use dried grass or felt and cut up in strips and glue
Raffia or straw get both at craft stores
I would definitely recommend raffia, super easy to work with.
