How to "extend" tension shower rod?
for holding VERY lightweight prism curtain over shower window. 72" rod is maybe a third inch too short for space. Don't want to glue anything to handicap shower (very pricey) walls.

Could you glue something to the ends of the tension rod? Maybe something rubbery that will hold well like a thick washer would work.
Yes, the space is just a tiny bit too wide so you have to narrow the space either at the side to side end or extend the rod by attaching something to the end of it. Your choice. You could use glue to either to hold something in place, like a piece of cardboard, washer, wood chip, or what you can find to adapt to the spacer you need. Best to you.
Maybe use a dowel a little smaller in diameter than your rod and extend from the middle.
Glue or double stick clear tape on lids from 1 gallon water bottles to the rod ends.
