How do I bring back the look of a glossy finish to my tub?
I've used a number of the helpful cleaning methods I've learned from Home Talk discussions. Finally, my 35+ year old tub is nice and clean and newly caulked. One problem -- although the tub is clean, it's not nice and shiny any more. The tub is white. Does anyone have a good way to bring back the look of a glossy finish again? Thanks, all! Robyn

How do I bring back the shine to my metal roof?
We have a nineteen year old metal roof; dark green, but it has lost its shine and the snow won't slide off. we need some ideas on how to "fix" it
Put the shine back in your porcelain sinks and bathtubs by giving them a good scrubbing with full-strength white vinegar, followed by a rinse of clean cold water. To remove hard-water stains from your tub, pour in 3 cups white vinegar under running hot tap water.
I use something called BioCleaner it's a clay product that cleans, shines, and leaves a nice finish on whatever you need looking better. I use it on glass cooktop, all my stainless pots, pans sinks, copper pots&pans,ceramic/porcelain tile tub/shower,enamel cookware & porcelain/enamel coated cast iron tub.works on Acrylic too because it's non-abrasive. I use Pledge Floor Care. It's a clear acrylic finish that shines and lasts for months. In between, to clean, I use Scrubbing Bubbles. That cleans well and leaves more of a shine than anything else I've found. I use this method on my inexpensive molded one piece bathroom sink and counter that gets lots of use.
