You can have a piece of glass made to fit over the table top. Maybe others know of a coating that would be strong enough to protect the pics other than epoxy?
Hi Gail, I have used Mod Podge to lay and stick pictures on with and also to seal. It comes in many different finishes. Or you could use a Polyurethane Varnish.
I have done what Brenda recommended with an antique coffee table but used plexiglass cut to size but also agree with mod podge as John suggested. Two really good ideas!
I suggest you get a piece of glass cut (edges smoothed!) == and this will truly preserve your pictures. (I do suggest you use Mod Podge first.)
