How do I get paint off walls?
At some point my kitchen walls where painted with an oil base paint and I painted over them and my walls starting peeling so I thought I’ll just peel the walls and start over. Wrong. A big mess. Can’t get all the paint off. How do I get these walls clean and even to repaint them

Hi. Ouch! A tough lesson learned. Use a latex paint stripper. Ventilate the room well and wear the proper gear. Work in small areas at a time. Good luck!
You have to scrape. If it doesn't come off use a stripper from your hardware store. It's a lot of work but can be done. Then lightly sand to even if the walls
Just lightly sand the paint and feather the edges into the surrounding area. Prime with Kilz primer then paint your color. If you use stripper it can affect the oil base paint and walls. Always use primer when painting anything.
Either sand the walls smooth or spackle over where the paint has chipped, then sand that area smooth. Prime, then paint.
