Hi Heather. The link Kathy has given you above is my project. Decoupaging on canvas is a fairly easy thing to do so I hope you check it out.
I use Modge Podge to glue paper on canvas. First I put a coat of gesso or primer paint, then add the paper with Modge Podge. I put a sealer coat on top to finish it off.
