What can I make outside
Outside decorations, I would start with a wreath. Berries look great. Lights are a must. Look what other hometalkers have done. There are great porch ideas with topiary baubles.
You can do garlands, simple ones with string and strips of rags tied on. Or more elaborate greenery and baubles.
Inside I would keep to a colour scheme. Or red white and green are traditional colours. Black and gold for glamour. Silver with different shades of blues or pinks and purples. Always have a table decoration and chose flowers and greenery to complement your chosen colour scheme.
I make this for Christmas, different but it has been so popular.

Don't know where you are located so materials may not be available as they are near me. My favorite is gathering fallen limbs and tree trimmings on walks, bunching them into swags, securing with wire, adding a few dollar store red ball ornaments and gathered pinecones and a big red bow. These go on my outdoor lights, mailbox, and entry door. Just toss at end of season or change out red with white balls and bows for the rest of the winter. Easy, very inexpensive, and no need to store. Plus I favor a natural look. Happy holidays!
