How to stop Rabbits and Deer eating my burning bushes?
Make them smell bad! You can boil onions and garlic in some water and then put the strain the water into a spray bottle. My uncle uses an easier, more old-fashioned trick. He actually urinates around the bushes.
My friend says they don't like sage, maybe consider growing some with your bushes.
Fastest remedy is to spray all leaf surfaces and surrounding ground heavily with Liquid Fence Concentrate. Shake container thoroughly prior to mixing and while applying. Apply 2-3x per month, 1st month, then 1x month thereafter. Can be applied with 5 hours of rain, using good spray bottle that holds at least 32 oz. , to cover minimum of 1/4 acre of shrubs, or a 1 gallon garden sprayer, for larger areas. Be sure to wear gloves, pay attention to wind direction.
It's available at garden centers and never deteriorates.
