Punish the kids. If I would have done this as a child? Never ever would have happened . . . Then wash the walls and see what, if any you can get off. If not you are ready to prime and paint! ! 🖌
Mr. Clean Magic Eraser really works on walls and hard furniture - even permanent marker and crayon were "erased" - visiting child did it.
Try W-D 40. First, use it in a small corner to see if it will work.
If it doesn't repeat using a dab of alcohol. (My dad made us clean the wall and then repaint it ourselves. Your children may still be too young for this.)
Spray hairspray on the marks and wash off.
You can also use Comet. Maybe not the best choice, but if you're low on funds and time, it's cheap and I know it works. Also, if you have scuff marks on your linoleum floor, I have used lighter fluid, or nail polish remover. Don't judge, it works!!!! Lol
magic eraser, my grandkids have done this a few times.
Mr. Clean Magic Erasers are the best tool for this job. Before removing the kids art work, take a picture. All of you may laugh about this 20 years from now. Good look and Happy Thanksgiving.
For scuff marks on floors use a pencil eraser or the edge of a tennis shoe sole.
Wd-40 will disolve crayon. Alcohol will disolve ink. Clean up residue with Magic Eraser.
If you haven't already try, hairspray and or nail varnish remover preferably containing acetone, if your child is anything like mine, repainting, means blank space to recreate 1st creation, no less than 5 times have i repainted
Trace their hands there and add the date they did it and then hang a frame over it .
