How do I replace damaged mobile home ceiling?

Hurricane Michael took our roof off and the insulation and ceiling had to be totally removed. The current ceiling material is not available any more. The trusses are not strong enough to hold sheet rock. What can I use instead?

If the trusses aren't strong enough to hold sheet rock they probably aren't safe. Until you have someone inspect this you shouldn't be in that home. This could be a very dangerous situation for you. Let your insurance handle this.

So the storm didn't damage the trusses? They were never strong enough to hold up sheet rock to begin with?
They make an ultra light weight dry wall (25% lighter that standard dry wall)

FRP panels....fiberglass reinforced panels. Have a pebble finish. Come in 4'X8' sheets.
Sorry for your hassle! Depending on your decor style - beadboard panel sheets are light and fairly easy to install.
