How do I install a hand spray?
Hi I need some help to install a hand spray. I have 3 ways connectors and connected the female side to the water pipe but it does not tighten well and water starts to leak. Any idea if I should get a different 3 ways connector? It might be the water pressure that is making it leak. Secondly, should I replace the water steel hose connecting from the water pipe to toilet water tank? I'm attaching some pictures.

Hi Parvinder, you need to use some teflon plumber's tape, wrap it in the tighten direction with a slight overlap. I posted a video on your other post
Parvinder, I always replace the inlet lines to toilets with the stainless steel braided lines. And as debkar suggested, Teflon tape is easy and not as messy as plumbers dope.

Yep, you need teflon plumbers tape on the connections. Also the three way valve thread pattern may be different than the one on the supply valve.
why install hand sprayer on a toilet???
O Colleen I had the same question, but maybe for a bidet in the toilet? Could work I think
In the middle east they spray their feet in preparation for prayer time... so we had one in every bathroom. They are great for spraying the walls of the bathtub, and rinsing the toilet bowl. I added them to my home in the USA just for that purpose.
Amazon, $12.00 to $18.00 a pop.
Just turn off water valve, remove hose and attach the three way fitting... then reattach toilet hose and the bidet hose goes on the end with the on-off valve.
NOTE!!! Most stuff from the middle east is poorly made so always shut off the water pressure to the bidet when not in use. I cannot tell you how many times someone returned from a two week vacation to a flooded villa.
That is from experience folks... BEWARE!!
Sorry... yes you need Teflon tape. Just youtube it. See link below.
