Hi. Spraying an enamel paint after sanding and cleaning well will make the tub look brand new. Invest is renting a paint sprayer for the job. Good luck!
I would hire a pro to do the painting - especially inside surfaces. These tubs are HEAVY and the best solution is to move it, but that may not be possible.
Absolutely need to use oil for outside. Inside hopefully is good. If not I would strongly suggest you have the inside prof done. But be sure because it's only temporary.
