How do I shine an old aluminum kitchen sink?
The sink must be 40 years old and has never shined right. Is there a way to spruce it up?

I have heard of using Barkeep's Friend or Bon Ami and then rinsing well, drying the sink and rubbing it with mineral oil. I don't know if it works, but it is worth a try if you haven't already tried it. Hope that helps!
Hi. Great question. When I needed to make a sink shine I polished it just like you would any piece of metal using a drill and polishing kit. Below is one that's complete. Sold on Amazon for under $30, it really did the job! Performance Tool W50090 Aluminum Polishing Kit
Agreed with Bijous. However if you get dents in it, during the process, (You may as it is Aluminum) you need to use a Wood Block anyway. Thus I recommend a Wood Block with Steel wool and Ivory Soap to Finish it off.
