Elena, They can be used for bird feeders. Cut a hole in the side, run a rope or strong cord between the opening and the top. Fill it up about 2 inches. That should do it. Aloha.

Hi Elena. I'm Cindy. I have seen people use milk jugs for holiday outside lighting. Use a strand of outdoor lights. Cut a notch out of the milk jug on the pour spout. Put one light in the jug making sure the wire enters and exits the jug in the notch. Replace the cap. Continue this process until you have used all of the lights. The milk jugs magnify the lights and makes beautiful luminarias. You can place them down your sidewalk, or your driveway, or on your porch.
Elena, you can cut out the front slope of the jug (away from the handle) and use it as a scoop or bins to store small items for gardening, sewing, painting, crafting, legos, matchbox cars, oral care, hair care, condiments, picnic supplies, etc. You can cut the flat sides out to slide into jean pockets for coasters or punch holes along the sides of the squares and crochet them together to form a blanket, placemat or bag. Cut the bottoms off and use them to sort items in your drawers: undies, junk drawer, desk drawer, nuts and bolts, etc. Good luck.
