How do you kill dollar weed?
I have a crop of Dollar weed that spreads all summer and chokes out my grass. I have tried weed and feed products and spot weed killer. It still creeps about the lawn all summer!

Hello Mike,
Has round up type application products failed? Sometimes packaging recommends reapplications. Heres a helpful link. Weeds can be aggressive as well as offensive, I have my own variety of weed troubles here, its an ongoing war.

Hi Mike,
My name is Linda. As Vimarhonor stated, invasive types of weeds can require vigilante treatment. In this case, I would use a weed killer, not a combo product. Then look on the label for how often you can repeat the process. There are also some natural ways to kill the dollar weed, but since they are a perennial and spread with both seeds and rhizomes, it will take consistent for a few years to actually get rid of it all. Plus if you have neighbors who have it in their yard, the wind can blow the seeds to your yard. I found an article that could help you learn more about the dollar weed and it has various ideas to at least control it. Wishing you the best.

it loves low, damp areas; change the environment if you can and it will not be an issue ... but it makes a good ground cover in areas that have trouble keeping grass .... grass likes sunny, dry, Pennywort ( dollar weed ) likes damp or even standing water to some degree
