How do I choose the proper brick for an outdoor oven?
Is here a difference in using red brick to built a outside oven or backyard oven does the size matter too the thick brick used for the ground or the think brick used for planting?

You'll need fire brick rated for use in an outside oven. I doubt your brick will be sufficient, but you should research it on a masonry website or similar, before proceeding.
You need fire brick in your firebox due to the high heat. Red brick can be used on the rest of the oven. It is too porous to be used inside the firebox.
