How do I temporarily cover two canvas side by side pictures?
I am tired of pictures, but don’t want to ruin the original?

Find some fabric that you like and wrap it around the canvas and staple it to the back! That’s what I did here: https://www.frugalfamilytimes.com/2018/07/ultra-easy-custom-fabric-art-how-to.html
put a new picture(poster, paint, contact paper, etc.) on new canvas with spray adhesive(if you need to attach something like poster) and stretch it over one you want to cover then use staple gun to attach to back of frame
I agree about the fabric and by stapling it to the back you can easily take it off later.
One of my 1st jobs in high school was stapling canvas prints to a wooden frame. I assembled the frames and all. Please do not use glue in case you ever want to change your mind. You have to wrap the canvas taut. You can also try shower curtains with prints on them if you don't have something picked out already
