You can mix 3 parts potting soil, 2 parts coarse sand, and 1 part perlite. You can also buy soil already mixed for cactus!
Yes - Amazon sells cactus potting soil by Dr . earth that is pretty good
I would go with the purchased cactus mix. You know that will be good for the cactus you will be giving for gifts at Christmas. Make sure to include care instructions for those that don't know how to care for them! Have a great Holiday Season, Mama Too!
