Whatever color you like or is restful and soothing to you. Generally pale colors are used, but do what you like. Pull out a color wheel and start testing!
Hi Phil! I like the smoother natural colors, but not everyone does. Take a look at some of these pictures and links and see which you prefer. Good luck and Merry Christmas..

Hi, Phil,
Lighter shades of blue can be calming. Some greens, such as sage, can have the same effect. If you're looking at re-sale, consider neutral tones of pale grey or light beige, almond, oatmeal, etc., or warmer whites.
What's popular in one region may not be in another. Ultimately, it's your personal choice. The key is to select many paint card samples, bring them home, secure to walls near windows and furniture at high and low points on walls, then check throughout the day and night to see if they're compatible with your floors and furnishings.
Note that lampshades in colors other than white, off white will cast a different appearance.
It depends on the bedroom.
If it is a cold room, you would paint with warm colours. Pinks, warm yellows, peaches.
If it's a warm bedroom then you would use cool blues, soft greens.
I tend to lean toward light, creamy colors (white, gray, etc) to create a relaxing atmosphere. That way you also have more flexibility with the decor and can easily change it.
