Hmmm. The bigger question seems to be: How did you get it in? 😉 As long as it is not stuck in a Sensitive Area, After letting it soak for a while, you can get the Burnt Egg off by using either Steel Wool, SOS Oads or any other 'Scrubby'.

If it is an old teflon pan you should avoid steel wool or SOS Pad, but instead can let it soak until you can scrape it off with a Plastic Lifter, Turner or Spatula.

Ya see, This is why I always take extra plastic sporks and knifes at Taco Bell.

It is much much easier to soak it and scrape with something you throw away.

Hi Tara; Soak the item in extremely hot water with some of the original blue colored Dawn dishwashing liquid in it for at least 1 hr. Then use a butter knife - any knife that is dull so it won't cut the item - and scrape the egg residue off. Dawn works wonders when used for soaking hard to clean kitchen items, including pots & pans, and it is wonderful for cleaning all the dishes, cupboards, etc., etc. Good Luck!

Hi ! If you have burnt egg stuck in a pan, first soak it with hot soapy water. Then use a scrubber, which kind you use will depend on your pots surface.

If it's metal, you can use a steel wool pad. If it's a non stick , you need a scrubber meant to not scratch. The best thing to use on either type of pan is a plastic lot scraper. This is a great little kitchen gadget to have ! It is a square disc , usually each corner is rounded with a different angle or width so it can clean any edge size of the pan. If you don't have one of these or can't find one you can use a plastic spatula ! After your lot has soaked at least a half hour scrap up the burnt on food. Then use your scrubber to finish cleaning .

    good luck !

I usually use Pamela’s methods to clean my pans. Good luck! You could also try scrubbing your pan with some kitchen salt.
