If you want it to last a little while you need to use the kits sold at Home Depot made for ceramic tile. Step by step instructions are in the kit. Prep is very important .

I wouldn't. I just don't think it'll last very long. And water etc. will tend to make the paint lift. Unless it is in a very seldom used room that doesn't get wet. then be sure to use a good bonding primer like this one.
