Next time Hoover comes by, take them up on cleaning a room😁! Or, depending on what kind of stains, first try resolve rug cleaner. (I use it on stains on my clothes) or try one of many homemade options you can find o nome Pintrest.
Options: home remedies or putchased carpet cleaners in a can. I always opt for a home remedy before resorting to chemicals. What kind of stains do you have? Blood, beverage, pet, food?
I have used my carpet cleaner to just clean a small area--usually from a pet accident--and of course--right after I have cleaned the entire carpet the week before! If you use a carpet cleaner from a can you have to make sure you rinse the area with water and blot to get an carpet cleaner residue out. Sometimes using that kind of carpet cleaner and not rinsing will actually attract dirt in that area.
