Hi Nor! Usually a white ring is trapped moisture. Gentle application of heat will help it dry. I've used a low heat setting on a hair dryer successfully.

  • To remove white rings left by wet glasses on wood furniture, mix equal parts vinegar and olive oil and apply it with a soft cloth while moving with the woodgrain. Use another clean, soft cloth to shine it up. To get white water rings off leather furniture, dab them with a sponge soaked in full-strength white vinegar.

I tried the hair dryer method and rubbers a paper towel in the direction of the grain and it worked perfectly. Thank you for you help. Nor
