Over the years, those pine needles will make terrific mulch (not to mention outstanding soil beneath them). You could try placing close spaced netting to catch the needles, then drag them where you need mulch.
Note that your soil may be rather acidic, beneath the pines, which will also have roots as long as the tree is tall.
It can be hard to grow things under pine trees because they make the soil so acidic, but you could go with mulch and potted plants for under them. You could take up a bunch of the needles and make a pathway in your yard and use bricks or something to keep the needles in place. You will always have a supply to put more down as they break down during the season.
