I clean Restaurant Ventahoods for a living, what the Professionals use is "Diesel Fuel" yes , Diesel Fuel straight from the pump, pour a small amount onto a rag and wipe it down!it Cleans, Shines, and Protects it , and the light smell don't last long, but the Shine does, and it's a lot Cheaper than "Lemon oil" that is what is supposed to be used. But no one knows what we use, what People don't know, don't hurt! A little inside trick from the "Professionals" try it, it works! and no one will ever know!
