    Hi Tamera,

Go to the DIY store and select a color that will make you comfortable and productive, it is a matter of taste. You may want to try multiple colors, if you can narrow it down to a couple of them, then pick a mini (sample) can of paint and apply it to see if you like it. Just do a small area and see if that is the one for that room. Best to you.

just a side note: we painted our home office a lighter shade to reflect the light and make it brighter (we used a blue) it is pleasing to the eye and brightens up our space

It all depends on the type of atmosphere you want in your office. If you go to your local art shop and look at, or buy an artist's color wheel you will see a range of colors. The range of red, orange red, orange, yellow orange, and yellow are loosly considered the warm colors in the spectrum. These colors give a lively, exciting atmosphere. On the other side of the wheel are yellow green, green, blue green, blue, blue violet, violet and red violate, the cool colors, and they give a more calming, relaxed atmosphere to your space. White can often seem very clinical and is often used in hospitals although they are now leaning towards the greens and blues. I hope this helps.

  • Any color you want! I painted my home office a merlot color. Love it!
