How do I protect a wooden plaque from outdoor elements?
I have a beautiful plaque that I would like to display outdoors, but not sure what kind protective coating I should use. Lots of heat and humidity most of the year. Thanks

Seberal coats of Marine Varnish
Spar varnish is used on boat decks
Log cabins have to have a permanent coating to prevent them from deteriorating too. An outside varnish should do it. Just get a small pint and reapply every 2 or 3 yrs to make it weather proof again.
Helmsman Spar Urethane. Used on wooden boats.
Valspar or some other marine deck varnish. Designed for outdoor & water.
