Cathy,. You can purchase paint you roll on, check with Home Depot or Lowe's. Aloha.
I've painted all kinds of smooth materials, but used bonding primer. Have only found bonding primer at Sherwin Williams. It is expensive, but does bond the paint to any smooth surface.
