How do I keep clothes from wadding up in ball in my dryer?

I too have had this issue . One day out of frustration I threw in my flip flops along with the dryer balls still using the flip flops . It worked perfectly. My flip flops are pink, there was no colour transfer from the flip flops , but you may want to test yours out first ,ha,ha. With a big comforter I have thrown in clean tennis shoes .

Dryer is over loaded. Put less items in and they will also dry faster.

Agree with Naomie that the dryer is overloaded. If you dry fewer clothes in each load, it will not take as long a time for the load to dry.

As for fitted sheets, always dry them alone. Set the timer on your dryer for short segments, for example, 10 minutes. When the timer rings, turn the sheet inside/right side out. Repeat as necessary.

Do not dry anything else with a fitted sheet. The other items will not only just find their way inside the fitted sheet, it will ball up around them, and nothing will dry properly.

Dryer balls or tennis balls do help but they are noisy. I agree though it sounds like the dryer may be overloaded. It's also possible the vent needs cleaning (not the trap, the actual vent) A vent that's clogged means things take longer to dry so they are tumbled for longer resulting in the ball effect.

i put a bath towel (which has been washed) in the dryer with my sheets. I fine that works for me. I do not find things in the cornors of the fitted sheet.

Not sure about overload we have a Samsung DV456000 series washer and dryer put one King size comforter and it wads it up worse than a basketball tried tennis balls guess try flip flops next pretty disappoint for such a luxury dryer
