Coffee can 5 1/2”h X 4” diameter
How can I use these coffee cans?
We collect ALOT of these coffee cans hoping to recycle into something other than storage. The can seems a bit large for strings lights, but would love to see ideas of lights, and anything else please 🤗🧐

If they are metal I use them to bake bread in. I usually make 3 or4 loaves then freeze them for later.
You can also take off all labels and spray paint them with paint that adheres to plastic. Any color you want.
I made birdhouse stop lights for my yard .
I keep a few in my car for emergency use. Holds toilet paper and can be used as an emergency potty if need be. Holds snacks, matches, candles, etc for winter travel.
I put a clear plastic bag from the vegetable department inside and use it to clean out my charcoal grill. It isn't glamorous, but it makes it easy to clean out. I just close the top of the bag and put it in the garbage. If it isn't close to the bottom of the bar-b-q, put a brick or something under the coffee can so there's not a lot of space.
I don't have them anymore but I went to an interior decorating store and asked for some wall paper leftovers. I glued them to the outside of the cans and used them for canisters.
Plant them in the garden, leaving a lip above, then plant flowers, and avoid some of the weeds,
Also as fillers for raised garden beds to reduce the amount of soil needed.
I use all my empty ones for butt cans. I don’t smoke but I fill them with sand & keep them out in my picnic area & one under carport (away from door). I can’t stand cigarette butts in my yard!!
I covered one with sticky shelf paper and keep an extra roll of toilet paper under the cabinet in the guest bathroom.
They are also good for small toys for the grandkids' visits.
Store garden hose washers, etc.
Also, store plant food to keep it from getting ruined by dampness.
They are a good size to paint with spray paint and make colorful planters to set in a small special garden outside...maybe a rock garden. Spread pea gravel and then put in a collection of small to larger rocks and set these cans among and on top of the rocks. You could plant with cactus which would not require a lot of watering.
You can make storage for pens, markers, and paint brushes. I have seen people make designs with drill bits to make candle holders. You can make lamp shade using the same process. There are so many things. Cut the sides in strips to spread out and make yard flowers, painting in a variety of colors. That is off the top of my head. I'm sure there are many more.
My coworkers took plastic coffee cans and the tops of water or soda bottles and attached them appropriately placed for a miniature fire hydrant. It was then spray painted red. It was used for decorating the office at Halloween. One now sits in my yard as a decoration. So very cute. We use regular coffee cans with lids to store dry goods.
