It’s all about paint colors and lighting. Keep the walls and the decor light and bright. For vanity lighting try using something that doesn’t have a shade, but instead is clear glass.
I agree with CribbsStyle! Light paint for the walls, ceiling, and trim, and a light fixture that gives off a nice stream of bright, white light. Also, avoid oversized fixtures!
Linda: I did not have a window in my little bathroom either --- so I took a photo of one and now I do! LOL
Hello completely agree with above, Light color paint towels and floor rugs would be my first suggestions.
Use semi gloss bathroom paint which is easy to wipe down and better relects light.
Purchase a bright white or light color shower curtain and water resistant fabric liner.
Use bright white or light colored towels, bath mat, etc.
Using chrome (towel bars, faucets, light fixtures, soap dispenser, etc.) better reflects light in a small bath.
If you have no window, insure the bath has a sufficiently powerful exhaust fan.
Using car wax on bath towels facilitates maintenance and reflects more light. Do NOT use car wax on grout.
LED lighting in a bath makes it much brighter.
