How can I expand storage space in my small home?
I want to declutter the house & need to keep important momentoes, papers, books, photographs and clothes inside a storage type unit that will keep things neat & out of sight while allowing me to access them quickly & easily for projects. I would great appreciate doable ways to make this happen quickly ~ I have two weeks to finish getting things in order!!!Susan

Susan, I think I would try those under-the-bed rollaway plastic bins with lids. They are easily accessible yet hidden from view. Or maybe even appropriately sized plastic bins with lids to be placed on overhead closet shelves. Good luck.
Hello Susan, I like to use wire bins or plastic bins with drawers for easy craft access would you consider this stacked storage sorted idea?
There are several different sizes of drawer storage thats stackable for easy access and using totes or some other type of stacked sealed storage is easily to achieve.
Hi Susan! A great question because we all need ideas on more storage space! There are many ways to do this. I have moved a great deal and have many plastic bins with lids. I use them as storage, and you can always cover them to dress them up. We also have 4 steamer trunks that my husband redid. We use them to store items such as blankets, bed linens, books, etc. Check out the Dollar Tree for space savers, etc. to use in your cupboards and drawers. Also a simple expanding curtain rod placed in your cabinets can help you by hanging cleaning supplies on them, etc.

Hi Susan, I use wooden IKEA shelves in my basement with clear storage boxes stacked inside. Every bin is labeled so I know what is inside and they are easy to access. This works for me, I hope it helps!
Use vertical wall space :) You can create so much extra space! We built these simple wall shelves and they fit 8 fabric storage bins. https://www.justmeasuringup.com/diy-wall-shelves/
