How do I make a rustic-looking wood bath panel?
What wood do I use to make a rustic looking bath panel? I would also like to frame the bathroom mirror as well. Any ideas please.

Mirror frame just use rustic/reclaimed wood instead and plain corner blocks of same wood https://www.hometalk.com/diy/bathroom/mirrors/how-to-frame-your-builder-grade-mirror-39877231 Not sure what you mean by "bath panel" is it going by tub?between tub and toilet?free standing? just on one of the walls? It would matter because of installation( need to build frame etc.) for wood any old aged wood planks will work check Habitat for Humanity resale shop,Craigs list,or any local salvage yards-could be expensive to buy. You can age new wood yourself check out the scrap bins at big box stores (Lowes etc)for wood if you don't need too much or them to be perfect https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RSB3MCQClc8 more https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nuioNBz0mII more https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=V39EWs2aPrM you'll need to seal it well if it will have any water contact. Use water base polyurethane it won't yellow over time like oil based
How to Frame Your Builder Grade Mirror
Where are you planning on putting the panel? Wood is not really a good thing to use in the bath/shower area. Perhaps some marine wood, or whatever they use in saunas may work. Most wood doesn't like to be wet that much without damage, perhaps using marine poly on it would help in many coats. Marine products would stand up well to moisture, but would still take care to last for years.
