How do I clean kitchen hardware?

We are painting our kitchen cabinets and wanted to know the best way to clean the knobs and hinges. I have heard vinegar and also baking soda paste.

Depending on what metal they are made from you might want to look into polishing compounds. Most metals have a specific polishing compound that will work really quickly!
I don’t know what your budget is but new knobs and hinges are not super expensive. Depending on how many you need you should be able to get them for under $100.
