How do I stain a wooden counter top in a white wash or pickled finish?
Wanting to replace kitchen counter tops with wood boards, pine most likely. Wanting to have a white washed or white pickled finish. Could also be in shades of gray or gray tones.

Mix a quart of oil based paint to the color you want , thin with paint thinner to the desired coverage you want applied to the wood. Brush on, wipe off. Coat with 2 coats of polyurethane.
