Try Resolve carpet cleaner with cool water
Fill a dish pan sized container or a bucket with warm water, add a few drops of mild dish soap, preferably Joy dish soap, blot the spot on the carpet let it get wet with your rag/sponge, wipe up the stain the best you can. Then take clean paper towels and keep blotting the carpet where you put the water until the carpet is as dry as you can get it.
As all cleaners say, maybe try it on a spot, where no one sees it before you do the actual stain.
