How to create privacy for a loft?
My bedroom upstair is a loft style. From the stair rail to the ceiling is open. I like to put something to provide the privacy but not blocking the light.
Consider the type of table in a hospital that can be slid to the end of the bed at night. They have a sliding compartment with a pop up mirror.
You could always get a hospital type of table that swings over the bed. One for makeup and another for crafts.
For my daughter I purchased a college dorm room organizer that tucked between the mattress and box spring. It holds things like the remote, pens, paper etc.
I learned years ago to use space up the wall if possible.
Shelving and bins may help.

Command hooks would hold the pockets up without damage.
A simple shoe box will hold supplies so they won’t roll around or get off the bed.
