Is this kit? A photo of parts would help.
If you have no real desire to make energy, etc. And
A. You want it slow. You can install a small fan motor, or even a USB fan or motor that attaches to a 100 Watt solar kit and that will do.
B. You want to control a speed higher than 100W Solar can provide, you need a Higher Wattage Fan with a Built in Speed Control. (Like a dimmer switch built right into the wire or the fan) And have two options for power:
1. 400W Solar kit that mounts on a Shed Roof, Garage Roof or Home Roof.
2. Installing an Outdoor Outlet.
Either of those will work, which one you select relies really on what outcome you want.
If you want cooling, go with B. If you want decoration only, go with A
But trust me on this: you do not get power from any decor windmill like you see at mini golf courses made of wood. They hide the wires from the mains in the conduit buried underground and always have a control panel built in a waterproof chamber inside the windmill itself. Same applies to decor Lighthouses, except they rather than attach a Fan (or motor with belts), attach a Lightbulb Socket.
Stock up on Flexseal Clear. As you will probably need 2 cans.
